Stan Hettinga

Co-Founder

Hi! I'm Stan. I spent a large part of my childhood growing up in Southeast Asia before moving back to the Netherlands. At age 15, I joined a software startup as employee no. 10 and got to watch from the inside as we scaled to 60 FTE. After moving to Delft, I spent a year working part-time at CEAD B.V., helping to build the world's largest industrial 3D printers.

Inspired by the startups I worked at, I kick-started my own entrepreneurial journey by co-founding R-BUD. Building an amazing team, talking with our clients, and tinkering with the latest high-tech hardware is exactly what excites me.

Levi Dekker

Co-Founder

Hi, I'm Levi. I've always been fascinated by how things work, which naturally led me to complete a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at TU Delft. But along the way, I realized that a great product requires more than just engineering. It also needs a solid business foundation. To bridge that gap, I spent a year studying Business Administration at Leiden Law School.

I also really like finding solutions and creating something impactful from scratch. That's why I co-founded R-BUD. Here, I get to combine both of my worlds: managing our financial strategy while still working on engineering and software development.

Jonathan Evertsen

Founding Engineer

Hey! My name is Jonathan. I grew up in Arnhem, where I spent my childhood before moving to Delft to study Mechanical Engineering at TU Delft. I also spent six months at TU Berlin, where I further developed my knowledge of thermodynamics, 3D design, and simulation.

Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by engineering and have always had a passion for designing and building things. Here at R-BUD, I focus mainly on the design and mechanics of our systems, making sure they are not only functional, but also robust and durable enough for the challenging environments in which they will be used.

Boele van Schaik

Sales Manager

Hi, I'm Boele!

I am always training to become world champion! Whatever it may be.

After completing my BSc in Mechanical Engineering at TU Delft, I joined the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team, where I was responsible for outgoing exposure and external relations. It was an amazing experience that gave me a broader perspective on engineering, communication, and working in a multidisciplinary team.

Now, I'm broadening my horizon even further at R-BUD. As Sales Manager, I'm responsible for connecting R-BUD to the world and showing that even a small team with big ambitions can make a real impact.
